Mobile Suit Gundam Wing 30th Anniversary Project Officially Launches!
The legendary Mobile Suit Gundam Wing returns to the spotlight in a major way—2025 marks the 30th anniversary of the groundbreaking series, and the official celebration has begun!
Originally airing on April 7, 1995, Gundam Wing was the second installment in the “Alternative Universe” timeline, presenting a bold new world apart from the Universal Century. It quickly became a cultural phenomenon—not only in Japan but across the globe—as the first Gundam series to be broadcast in North America, igniting a new generation of fans and becoming a gateway into the Gundam universe for millions.
To commemorate this historic milestone, Bandai Namco has launched the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing 30th Anniversary Project—a full-scale celebration packed with exclusive content, nostalgic tributes, and including of course, new GunPla releases!
Kicking things off is the reveal of a stunning new “30th Anniversary Visual” featuring a sharply dressed Heero and Relena, capturing the essence of the series’ emotional core and growth over three decades.
Fans can now explore the newly launched 30th Anniversary Special Site, which will serve as a one-stop hub for all Gundam Wing-related news, exclusive products, and project updates throughout the year. The site is available in Japanese and English, making it accessible to Wing fans across the globe.
